Nic Geard

Nic Geard is a Senior Lecturer with the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, and a Senior Research Fellow with the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. He develops computational models of infectious diseases transmission, in order to better understand how diseases spread through populations, and to inform discussion about how they can best be controlled. He is a CI on an NHMRC-funded Centre for Research Excellence in infectious disease modelling to inform public health policy (http://prism.edu.au).
