Dorota Jamrozy

Dr. Dorota Jamrozy is a principal bioinformatician and project manager for the Juno study at the Sanger Institute. With a background in bacterial genomics, her expertise lies in applying whole-genome sequencing to investigate pathogen evolution. Dr. Jamrozy holds a BSc in Medical Biology from Brunel University and a PhD in Microbiology from Kingston University, London, complemented by training in microbiology and molecular biology. Since joining the Sanger Institute in 2014, she has been involved in multiple genomic studies on human-associated bacterial pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella pneumoniae. Her current research focuses on the global diversity and evolution of Group B Streptococcus.
